Candidates must have 5 SSCE credit passes in Mathematics, English Language, and three other science subjects to study software engineering in Nigeria. One of the three science subjects must be physics.

JAMB SUBJECTS COMBINATION AND CUT OFF MARK FOR SOFTWARE ENGINEERING

Candidates must register and sit for the following subjects in the JAMB examination to study software engineering in Nigeria: Mathematics, English Language, Physics, and Chemistry. The minimum passing score for software engineering is 180.
